M07 won't inhibit the bonding of any Meguiar's LSP, but if left as the final applied product it will not last long on it's own. A couple of washes, or just a matter of days even without washing. Then again, it isn't designed to last.

Will it reduce the life span of a wax or sealant? When used properly it should cause no significant degradation in that regard.

For the above reasons/concerns, among others, we do consider the application of a pure polish to be an optional step.

And yet, when following the tips set forth in that article, and other similar suggestions here on MOL, you used M07 with great success. Fear not the pure polish, for it is good!
